Alphabet Inc. (NASDAQ:GOOGL) Following The Footsteps Of Its Rivals Through Implementing Google Voice Assistant Inside Cars

Alphabet Inc. (NASDAQ:GOOGL) Google voice assistant; has already been largely incorporated into various Google projects, including the tech giants instant messaging application, as well as the new Pixel phone. Therefore, the company has been driven by the idea of putting their voice-assistant into Google cars.

Google is evidently following in the path of its competitors through integrating an artificial intelligence, voice-assistant into the cars that the tech giant develops. Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) already announced that they would be working with General Motors Company (NYSE:GM) to incorporate Apple Siri into their vehicles.

Furthermore, Ford Motor Company (NYSE:F) announced the intention to integrate Amazon.com, Inc. (NASDAQ:AMZN) product ‘Echo’ into their vehicles. It has not as of yet been announced which company will be partnering with the Google Voice assistant.

Potential candidates for the Google Voice assistant

It has not as of yet been announced by Google, whom the tech giant intends to partner with for their voice-assistant feature. There are, however, speculations to various companies still on offer if Google intends to follow the path of the company’s rivals and opt for an American Auto dealer.

The companies that are most anticipated to join forces with Google are Fiat Chrysler Automobiles NV (NYSE:FCAU), as well as Tesla Motors Inc (NASDAQ:TSLA).

How the integration works

Tthe various companies have not as of yet released a full briefing on the exact process of this integration between artificial intelligence and vehicles, nor, has any announcement been made on features that a voice-assistant controlled car will provide.

However, the partnership between Ford and Amazon for Echo did reveal that through the use of Echo, consumers can start the vehicle, as well as request the statistics of how charged the vehicle is, without the necessity to leave the vehicle.
