It happened in the Bay and Dundas streets area a short time ago.

Toronto police arrived at the scene at the front of the Atrium on Bay at about 4:30 Wednesday afternoon, where they discovered one man was bleeding from the legs and head.

Witness reports suggest that the suspect was screaming "F*** White People" before the attack occurred.

A 35-year-old man was arrested after a machete attack in downtown Toronto that left a man with serious but non-life-threatening injuries, police say. Paramedics were unable to determine if all the injuries were caused by the machete.

Police are continuing to investigate.
