Reed didn't even appear to be hit that hard, but it was all about the angle of the hit and where the helmet rammed into Reed's neck.
Arkansas junior wide receiver Dominique Reed left the Liberty Bowl on a stretcher Saturday afternoon, and he returned that evening with a smile.
While going for a first down on a third-and-long, one Wildcats player had Reed's feet wrapped from behind while another defender leveled Reed with what looked to be helmet-to-helmet contact with 2:35 remaining in the second quarter.

Arkansas coach Bret Bielema said after the Razorbacks' 45-23 victory that Reed was taken to the hospital for observation but rejoined his teammates in the locker room after the game. "Said Bielema, "[Reed]'s got a heck of a headache probably, but he's alive and well".
Reed, a junior from Camden, Arkansas, ended the season with 28 catches for 535 yards and six touchdowns.
