Following Klopp's arrival in October, the Reds have been linked with a great number of transfer targets, with the European media anticipating a major overhaul of his new squad.

Red Star Belgrade midfielder Marko Grujic is another name linked with Anfield but Klopp remained tight-lipped about potential incomings, instead choosing to reflect on the silly season that now surrounds the English game.

In an exclusive interview with German publication Bild, the former Borussia Dortmund boss has admitted he's powerless to stop the paper and internet talk about players he may be interested in buying. The latest of which have been Joel Matip and Leroy Sane from Schalke, and Klopp cheekily answered a reporter who asked him if there was any truth behind Liverpool's interest.

If United are to establish themselves among the elite clubs of world football once again, they need to be attracting the best talent and they are failing in that respect right now.
