Cavin Ridley, who may go by Riley Ridley in college, announced his intentions to enroll at Georgia while on a visit to the school Thursday. This gives Georgia 15 commitments for its upcoming class and gives high-prized quarterback Jacob Eason another target to work down the road.
Ridley helped guide Deerfield Beach to the 11-8A district championship and was a key cog in its high-flying offense, amassing 500 yards and four touchdowns.
Ridley's decision to play for the Bulldogs might come as a surprise to some as Alabama - where his older brother, Calvin, is a freshman receiver and major contributor - was believed to be the favorite. He called it the "hardest decision" of his life. The 6-foot-1, 198-pound Ridley committed to SC following Saturday's Under Armour All-America game in Orlando, but decommitted two days later. As you all have seen I've really struggled to choose between some wonderful universities with outstanding football programs.
